Excellent Phone Skills (The phone is our lifeline. Friendly and compassionate conversation abilities are a must.) Our patients need to hear your bright smile when you answer the phone, and see it when they walk in the door and you greet them immediately.
We would like someone very polished; flexible, organized, and be able to multi task.
Duties include scheduling and greeting patients, billing, claims processing and financial arrangements. Applicant must possess computer knowledge, customer service skills, strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, be a self-starter, have strong work ethic, and be interested in joining a winning team.
Additional responsibilities include:
ΓΆβ‚¬ΒΆ Greet visitors/patients; explain policies, procedures or services to patients using dental knowledge; refer visitors/patients to appropriate person or department.
ΓΆβ‚¬ΒΆ Answers phone and provide information to callers: schedule, verify and process patient appointments.
ΓΆβ‚¬ΒΆ Keep electronic records of patient interactions and transactions; recording details of inquiries: complaints, comments and actions taken.
ΓΆβ‚¬ΒΆ Determine charges for services rendered, collect and post payments and arrange for billing if necessary.
ΓΆβ‚¬ΒΆ Prepare treatment estimates for reviewing with patient; run, balance and close end of day reports and all other duties as assigned.
